Scott Frankel & Robert Cohen, represented individuals in all areas of civil rights, including criminal defense, employment related litigation and unlawful treatment by the police. Mr. Frankel and Mr. Cohen have litigated cases in administrative hearings. In the trial courts of the State of Illinois and in Federal courts. Mr. Frankel and Mr. Cohen have argued cases in State and federal appellate courts and in the Illinois Supreme Court. Mr. Frankel's criminal cases have ranged from retail theft to murder and include complex fraud conspiracies and multiple defendant narcotics cases. Mr. Frankel was co-counsel in one of the largest fraud prosecutions in Illinois history, United States v. Soteeker. He has obtained numerous acquittals for clients in first degree murder cases. Mr. Frankel and Mr. Cohen's client. Mark Johnson, recently received clemency from Governor Ryan after having served over ten years on death row in Illinois.
