Labor and Employment Matters
Robert Cohen is the firm's partner who practices primarily in the labor and employment law area. Mr. Cohen has been practicing employment law for more than 20 years.
From 1987-1992, Mr. Cohen taught at the University of Chicago Law School as a Clinical Lecturer in Law. While at the Law School, Mr. Cohen supervised law students litigating employment discrimination cases in the Edwin F. Mandel Legal Aid Clinic's Employment Discrimination Project. In addition, he taught a trial practice course.
In 1992, Mr. Cohen formed the law firm of Frankel & Cohen and has represented numerous clients in labor and employment cases. In addition, Mr. Cohen has worked as a part time hearing officer for the Cook County Commission on Human Rights and the City of Chicago Commission on Human Relations. Mr. Cohen has also published articles and lectured on employment law topics.
In 2005, Matthew Lango joined the firm as an associate and has represented clients on numerous labor and employment law matters.
